Parrot Heads of Central Florida present Trop Rock in Our Souls-Year 2
Sunday, November 9th from NOON to SIX
at RockPit Brewing & Distilling. (10 West Illiana Street, Orlando)
For our 2nd year, we will honor our Florida Trop Rock Singers/Songwriters with this BENEFIT for Trop Rock Music Association Artist Relief Foundation.
All proceeds will be earmarked for our Florida TRMA Trop Rock artists when times arise and PHinancial help is needed.
It will be a ‘smorgasbord’ of Trop Rock with artists: Jimmy Parrish, Joe Downing, Reggie Starrett, Jimi Pappas, Beth Travers, and Jim Asbell.
Radio Trop Rock personality Renee Adams will be emceeing the afternoon and providing activities. Dave Freeman will provide our Sound System and share his keyboard talents.
Basket Raffles, PHifty/50, and activities will help us with our PHun-Raising.
A food truck will be onsite, as well as Cecil’s Barbecue menu. Artists may have MERCHANDISE for sale. LUCKY STARS donation Jar will be available for individual doantions. ARTIST TIP JAR will be onstage for each Trop Rock musician. (All the artists will be paid a very small stipend but they are donating their talent, time, and travel to support the cause.) Please consider bringing CASH to support our event.
The gate will open at 11:30. Parking will be limited onsite, but there is an office building across the street with vacant spots on Sunday.
