  3. Interim Report was filed and accepted on July 15, 2024.  A copy was sent to the Executive Board on July 15th.
  4. PHIP has started a new Social Media connection on FB and Instagram. 
  5. We have signed up under the club FB page.
  6. Will, supposedly, make it easier to share in PHlockmail than copy/paste
  7. Watching to see if there is a link on PHIP website for non-social media PHlockers
  8. Nominations are open for Vice President, Director of Finance, and Director of Membership.
  9.  All names must be submitted by August 1st
  10.  Betsy send an official nomination to any PHlockers interested.
  11. News from MOTM
  12. We have 16 PHCF members registered.
  13. More bands have been added weekly and inPHo is being shared via PHlockmail.
  14. News from PHlorida Leaders

a) Being held August 2-3 in Jacksonville, hosted by PHiNS (Parrot Heads in Natural Settings)

b) Mark and Betsy will represent PHCF.

c) Betsy has volunteered to do a breakout session on membership building and retention.

d) Breakout sessions will be chaired on Big PHundraisers, Board Member Burnout, and Inspiring Member Participation

  • RockPit is sponsoring Jimmy Look-alike and Dress As Your PHavorite Song contests.  Also sponsoring a Cheeseburger Is Paradise contest.
  • Singin’ for Change is our charity for this event.

  • LAST SUPPER PHRiday will be a Burger/Dog Picnic with donations for meat & buns.  Participants are asked to bring a covered dish.  Club will provide paper products and cover cost of meat and buns.

New Business

  1.  Kegs for Eggs-PHundraiser at RockPit for Ovarian Cancer Together in Teal.
  2. RockPit will donate one keg and all proceeds for the keg will go to our Team
  3. We can name the beer to match our Teal PHeathers Team
  4. We can do a PHlash PHlocking on a Monday night when they do Kareoke.  In September
  5. Continue to work on Holiday gathering
  6.   Research club hangie-thingie lanyards for good prices
  7.   Club civility  
  8.   Clarity of Bereavement PHunds

   We discussed 50/50 to raise money if needed.

    Mike S. brought up what it says in our Operating Principles.

    Which we are going to review at a later date.   

  •  Central Florida Animal Reserve-interest is there for a Barbecue.  Can we find a Sunday in November? November is a busy time

for everyone.  Betsy is going to look at a different month.

  • Lucky Stars for November-Hawaiian shirts for Soldiers?
  • Orange Seminole Foster Children’s Association-our December Lucky Stars with tags pulled in November.  Do we want to set aside a top amount we will give from club PHunds to fulfill as many tickets not chosen as possible?
