OCCIFERS REPORTS:

CALL TO ORDER:
Lisa Schott called the meeting to order at 7:01pm.

SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Minutes were sent out to council for review. Some editing needed then they will be posted to website. Checking account reviewed. Mary Libbey made a motion to accept the report; it was seconded by Suzanne Templin and passed unanimously.

TREASURER’S REPORT:
Suzanne Templin submitted her monthly report and budget to date. A club member gave Suzanne a check for a donation to Back to Nature. Jackie Dorsey made a motion to accept the report; it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was passed unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Amy Buchanan reported that we have 6 new members. We had 56 people that signed the attendance sheet for the last Phlocking . Amy asked for more Lanyards and t-shirts. Amy also officially announced she will not be conducting any work while in Key West. Suzanne Templin made a motion to accept the report; it was seconded by Norbert Camacho and the motion was passed unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK’S REPORT:
Entertainment for the November will be Decibel. Lucky Stars collection is coloring books and crayons for autistic children. The raffle table will be run by Tammy Esser to donate for Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless. Christmas party tickets are available. Mary Libbey will set up a PayPal account as well. The fundraising garage sale netted $233 after expenses and a donation to the Shriners hospital. Amy Buchanan made a motion to accept the report; it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was passed unanimously

COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Meeting of the Minds information lists are in progress. Amy Buchanan made a motion to accept the report; it was seconded by Norbert Camacho and the motion was passed unanimously

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Bruce Broulick was not present but submitted report via e-mail.
Bruce inducted 8 people at the last phlocking. Jim Van Pelt will be hosting a pre MOTM part Oct 28 (subsequently cancelled due to illness).

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Norbert Camacho reports he was given a nice, long club banner. Amy Buchanan made a motion to accept the report; it was seconded by Jeanette Freeman and the motion was passed unanimously.

MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Joe Deluzio and Terry Clark report no issues at this time.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Lisa Schott reports there are 41 PHCF members officially registered for Meeting of the Minds (MOTM). In the PHIP elections the only contested officer was Vice President and that was won by Andy Harrel. Mary Libbey made a motion to accept the report; it was seconded by Norbert Camacho and the motion was passed unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS:

Fall Picnic was held October 7th at Sylvan Park. There were a small but fun group of attendees.
Amy is continuing to work on a workbook for being a chair parrot.

NEW BIDNESS:

MOTM CLUB PARTY –
Tammy and Chuck Esser volunteered to hold mandatory annual meeting at their house on November 25th.
Jim “JT” Thomas has agreed to be elections chair parrot once again.
TBPHC is holding Music on the Bay. To be a sponsoring club we need to have 50 registrants and participate in fund raising or organizing or both. This year all proceeds will go to Shriners but a portion would be donated in the sponsoring club’s name.
Terry Clark is organizing a jet ski excursion for Friday during MOTM.

A motion was made by Jackie Dorsey to spend up to $100 on cake and decorations for club party at MOTM. It was seconded by Jeanette Freeman and passed unanimously.
A motion to adjourn was made by Jeanette Freeman; seconded by Suzanne Templin and passed unanimously at 8:15 pm
