Council of Pheathers Meeting

IN ATTENDANCE:
President Lisa Schott, Secretary Laurie Ramsteck, Treasurer Colene Clark, Membership Occifer Mary Libbey, Keeper of the Phlock Tammy Esser, Membership Officer Mary Libbey, Membership Advocate Norbert Comacho, Jim Thomas, Josh Ramsteck, Chuck Esser

CALL TO ORDER:
Lisa Schott called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm.

SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Laurie Ramsteck reported that the minutes from October’s COPH meeting were sent out, reviewed and posted to the website. The bank statements were also reviewed and approved. Colene Clark made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was passed unanimously.

TREASURER’S REPORT:
Colene Clark reported that we have $3,412.37 in our overall account. Renewal monies are coming in. Laurie Ramsteck made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Tammy Esser and the motion was passed unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Mary Libbey reported that we currently have 422 members! Council discussed the Honorary/Complimentary memberships and decided to keep everything the same at this time. Colene Clark made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Jim Thomas and the motion was passed unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
Tammy Esser reported that we had a great Reunion Phlocking in November. Tammy asked about setting up in advance who will handle the Raffle table each month. If Tammy can set the months up in advance, that is great. Tammy will get with Josh Ramsteck to discuss the 2011 entertainment schedule. Mary Libbey made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Laurie Ramsteck and the motion was passed unanimously.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
No report this month

EXECUTIVE OFFICER’S REPORT:
No report this month

MEMBERHIP ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Norbert Comacho had no issues/concerns/suggestions to report.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Lisa Schott discussed the Club purchasing a memorial stone for Janet Broulik at Give Kids the World. The cost is $200. Jim Thomas made a motion that PHCF purchase the memory stone and it was seconded by Colene Clark and the motion was passed unanimously.

Lisa also asked Colene Clark about doing another pool party at GKTW. Colene will follow up with her contact about possibly doing another type of event since it is getting cooler.

Quietly Making Noise’s Adopt-A-Villa Christmas decorating day is November 27th if anyone wants to come out and help.
FITA registration is up and running. Colene Clark made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Jim Thomas and the motion was passed unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS:

BY-LAWS:
Jim Thomas reported that the by-law changes were passed unanimously. Mary Libbey will get rid of the red lined items on the website.

NEW BIDNESS:

DECEMBER PHLOCKING:
Tammy Esser reported that the entertainment is Capt. Josh, the raffle will be handled by Jim and Nancy Piastuch and the Lucky Stars will be toy collection.

PHCF ELECTIONS:
Jim Thomas reported that nominations are coming in. We have someone nominated for each position so far. Jim is contacting the individuals nominated to see if they will accept the nomination.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS (INC. COMPS/HONORARY
Council discussed earlier in the meeting.

DECEMBER COUNCIL MEETING:
Council discussed changing the meeting date to December 13th. Council agreed to the date change.

OTHER:

MOTM CLUB PARTY:
Laurie Ramsteck reported that the party was great! We raised $342 in the raffle that will go to The Arthritis Foundation. Last year we raised $135. Thank you to everyone who attended.

Colene Clark made a motion for the meeting to adjourn and it was seconded by Jim Thomas and the meeting adjourned at 8:08pm.
