In Attendance:

President Lisa Schott, Secretary Jackie Dorsey, Treasurer Suzanne Templin, Keeper of the Phlock Jeanette Freeman Communications Officer Mary Libbey, Executive Occifer Norbert Camacho, Member Advocate Paul Fraas, Sonia Bayne.

OCCIFERS REPORTS:

SECRETARY’S REPORT:

Minutes submitted to web site. Bank accounts have been reviewed. A motion to accept the report was made by Mary Libbey and it was seconded by Jeanette Freeman and the motion was approved unanimously.

TREASURERS REPORT

Suzanne Templin gave report for month of March. Income was $ 766.00 and expenses were $552.71. Checking account balance $6,426.59. Suzanne also reports our 501(c) 7 not for profit status has been re-instated. Suzanne also she filed income taxes 990N form. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded by Jeanette Freeman and the motion was approved unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:

Amy Buchanan not present but sent Lisa report as follows. Club has 472 memebrs to date. 3 new members were inducted at last phlocking. A motion to accept the report was made by Suzanne Templin and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was approved unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:

Jeanette Freeman reports we have Captain Josh for May’s phlocking Marti Hahn and Dee are scheduled to do the raffle table for Breathe Easy foundation. Lucky Stars are baby items to be collected by the Van Pelt’s. A motion was made to accept the report by Jackie Dorsey seconded by Suzanne Templin. Motion was passed unanimously.

COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:

Mary Libbey has nothing to report at this time.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:

Bruce Broulik not present

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:

Norbert Camacho states nothing to report

MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:

Paul Fraas reports nothing

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:

Lisa Schott reports she will not be present at the next phlocking. Jeanette Freeman will step in to perform duties of announcements and inductions. Lisa suggested that our Meeting of the Minds (MOTM) club party continue the 20th anniversary party. A motion was made to accept the report by Jeanette Freeman seconded by Mary Libbey. Motion was passed unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS:

Back to Nature is next service day and so far there are not many people signed up. Mary plans to send reminder.

Suzanne Templin brought Orlando Sentinel corporate giving column to discuss we will look into getting our accomplishments listed in the future.

NEW BIDNESS:

Paul Fraas announced the poker tournament will be June 2nd at McWells. He also asked for $100 from the club to sponsor a table. A motion was made by Jackie Dorsey to give $100 to sponsor a table at the poker tournament. Ir was seconded by Mary Libbey and passed unanimously.

Discussed the fall picnic planning Jeanette Freeman will be chair parrot. The Christmas Party will need a chair parrot to step up. Mary Libbey expressed an interest in chairing future club birthday celebrations.

Sonia Bayne states T. Scott Walker will be playing at Legends June 16th

A motion to adjourn made by Norbert Camacho and it was seconded by Suzanne Templin the motion was approved unanimously.
