Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge
The new location is much closer, currently resides on a far bigger facility, and they are just SO appreciative to welcome back the PHCF Club Volunteers!! The address is 10525 Clapp Simms Duda Road Orlando, FL 32832 – which is far more centrally located in the beautiful Lake Nona area. The mission of the Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge is to rescue, raise, rehabilitate, and eventually release injured or orphaned native species wildlife. They also provide education in conjunction with preserving the environment. We encourage you to click right HERE so you can browse the amazing pictures to learn more about the new facility and animals.
You will want to be sure you bring yourself gloves to wear, have the appropriate attire, and don’t forget lots of fluids to stay hydrated — we need YOU to help us give them our special ‘PHCF’ touch. There is something for everyone to accomplish, so please don’t be hesitant to join in – the work can be done more efficiently and quickly with creative minds and many hands!!
The most important rule of Back to Nature is NO FLIP FLOPS, PHlock!!
Now that you know what a few productive hours of your Sunday could involve, come volunteer alongside your PHellow ‘animal loving’ PHlock members from 10:00am to approximately 1:00pm as we do a bit of good for our community. Another great perk to this new facility is that there are several picnic tables and shaded trees, so you could pack yourself a lunch, be sure to bring lots of non-alcoholic drinks, and plan on having a small picnic with nature if you wish.
