It is Manatee Picnic time again. In the past our club has had a picnic at Blue Springs State Park in Orange City. Check out the web site there is a lot to do.
Where: Blue Springs of course, 2100 W French Ave, Orange City, FL 32763
Look for our picnic pavilion by the restrooms, we will have a Parrot Head sign hanging.
When: Sunday February 13th 2022
What time: 8:00 am to when we leave
Food will be served at 12:00, usually people start for home after lunch, if it is a cold day.
If you have never been to the park, let me tell you to get there early.
The park only lets so many cars in and then will have you wait in line to get in.
Why: To get together, walk around a beautiful park, eat, tell stories,
just plain get to know each other.
Cost: $6 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle.
$4 Single Occupant Vehicle.
$2 Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers,
passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
A dish of food to share. The club purchases the Chicken and paper products.
Chuck and I will have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water for everyone.
If you want something else to drink – bring it,
remember it is a State Park – no booze!
If you would like to bring family members or friends (possible new members) please do!
If you have an outdoor game to play – bring it along I am sure someone will play.
Most importantly – RSVP by February 11 so we can order Chicken.
