Council of Pheathers Meeting

IN ATTENDANCE:
President Lisa Schott, Secretary Laurie Ramsteck, Membership Occifer Mary Libbey, Keeper of the Phlock Tammy Esser, Executive Occifer Joe DiLuzio, Member Advocates Norbert Comacho and Paul Fraas, George Schott, Josh Ramsteck, Chuck Esser, Gail Rodehaver.

CALL TO ORDER:
Lisa Schott called the meeting to order at 7:07pm.

SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Laurie Ramsteck reported that September’s minutes were reviewed and posted to the website. Also, the bank statements for September were reviewed and approved. Joe DiLuzio made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was approved unanimously.

TREASURER’S REPORT:
Mary Libbey provided the Treasurer’s report in Colene Clark’s absence. We have $3,387.05 in our overall account. Laurie Ramsteck made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Joe DiLuzio and the motion was approved unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Mary Libbey reported that we have 419 members! Joe DiLuzio made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Laurie Ramsteck and the motion was approved unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
Tammy Esser reported that we had a successful fall picnic. We had 67 adults and 14 keets attend. The Club spent $233.42. Laurie Ramsteck made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was approved unanimously.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
No report this month.

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Joe DiLuzio reported that he is still locating club assets.

MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Norbert Comacho and Paul Fraas had no new issues/concerns to report.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Lisa Schott reported we have Paypal again. Club members can use it for Club renewals, FITA registration, Poker Tournament registration etc. The processing fee will be passed along to the Club members who choose to use this method of payment. Chuck Esser will follow up with Denny Butts regarding our old Paypal account.
Our Club will have an open bowling night on November 14th. Lisa Schott to put out an e-mail to the club.
Our FITA website looks awesome. Thanks to Mary Libbey for all of her hard work. Joe DiLuzio made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the report was approved unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS:

BY-LAWS UPDATE:
Council reviewed the proposed changes to the By-Laws. Laurie Ramsteck made a motion to approve the changes and it was seconded by Joe DiLuzio and the motion was approved unanimously. Vote will now go out to the General Membership for approval.

NEW BIDNESS:

MOTM UPDATE:
Lisa reported that we have 55 registered members, 6 going that are not registered and 6 that have registered with another club. Club party is Thursday, Nov. 4th at Dante’s from 4p-8p.

NOVEMBER PHLOCKING:
Tammy Esser reported that we will have our reunion Phlocking on November 12th. Will look into doing some Club trivia and giveaways. We need 2 volunteers to do the “who am I?” photos. Lucky Stars will be collecting coloring books and crayons for Autistic children. Raffle monies will go to Servants Heart (give away turkeys to the needy).

PHCF ELECTIONS:
Lisa to follow up with JT.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS:
Mary will be sending out the 1st renewal notices soon. Council discussed the Complimentary and Honorary status of members. Tammy to confirm w/McWells that November 12th is aware of the date change.

A motion was made by Joe DiLuzio to adjourn and it seconded by Laurie Ramsteck and the motion was approved unanimously.
