OCCIFERS REPORTS:

SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Minutes submitted to web site. Bank accounts reviewed. A motion to accept the report was made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Amy Clark, the motion was approved unanimously.

TREASURERS REPORT

Suzanne Templin gave report for month of May and budget to date. Suzanne thanked Greg for being substitute and stated she wouldn’t be at the next council meeting. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Clark and it was seconded by Shawn Goos and the motion was approved unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Amy reports 82 people were at the last phlocking. There were with 2 inductions. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded by Suzanne and the motion was approved unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
Jeanette announced she wouldn’t be at next 2 phlocking. Gail and Paul would be running the raffle table for the Russell Home. Jeanette thanked Shawn and Caleigh in advance for running the 50/50 and raffle table this month. Lucky stars are sponsored by Cindy Cunningham who is collecting cleaning and other supplies for a camp called OCA. The music will be provided by a Matt Olsavsky. A motion was made by Jim Thomas to accept the report seconded by Norbert Camacho. Motion was passed unanimously.

COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Shawn Goos discussed having the chair parrots for the various events write a synopsis of what happened at the events to be sent as a phlock mail. Terry did this for the last beach cleanup and it was well received. Shawn hopes this will encourage more participation. Amy stated she made the template on Mail Chimp® already so that will make it easier in the future. Shawn will continue to send out upcoming events including Volleyball practice. A motion was made by Jackie Dorsey to accept the report by seconded by Amy. Motion was passed unanimously

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Bruce Broulik announced the next Give Kids the World pool party is scheduled August 10th. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy and it was seconded by Norbert and the motion was approved unanimously.

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Norbert Camacho stated he would really like to see more volleyball participation. A motion to accept the report was made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Amy and the motion was approved unanimously

MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Terry Clark reports he has gotten a variety questions about the online photo album. Mary McCormick expressed interest in helping with project. A motion to accept the report was made by Jeanette Freeman and it was seconded by Amy and the motion was approved unanimously.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Lisa Schott made note the she has been getting email rejections from AOL accounts. Lisa also requests council to encourage participation in upcoming events. The PHIP discount cards she has been passing out now have discounts listed on PHIP website. A motion to accept the report was made by Norbert and it was seconded by Amy and the motion was approved unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS:
Lisa asked if we could put the phlocking noise levels to a rest now. Most agreed it has improved but there were always going to be complaints.

NEW BIDNESS:
Meeting of the Minds(MOTM): Casa Marina has sold out and registration is filling up fast. Lisa encouraged everyone to think about registering early.

A motion to adjourn made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Norbert the motion was approved unanimously.
