OFFICER REPORTS:

SECRETARY’S REPORT:

Minutes for last meeting submitted by email. Bank accounts were not reviewed by Cindy Cunningham due to PW and security issues Treasurer Amy was having with bank.

Motion to accept report made by Lou and seconded by Amy. Motion passed unanimously.

TREASURER REPORT:

Treasurer report submitted by Amy Buchanan. Amy reported another user attempt was made on our account, so she went to the bank and had all IDs changed.

She also reported that FITA was almost all paid out. Parking ticket orders were coming in.

Amy added an Adopt-a-Shore budget item of $40 for refreshments. Raffle basket budgets are $75/month with all proceeds going to charities. Added distribution item for $39 to Terry to fix up pop-up tent that was donated.

Motion to accept report made by Terry, seconded by Lou. Motion passed unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OFFICER REPORT:

Jackie Dorsey submitted the Membership report. Jackie reported there were 69 at the March Phlocking, while 11 new members were inducted and the new officers were introduced.

Jackie is sending out “come back” emails to delinquent members. Reported she liked having a table set up at the Phlocking for membership. It was agreed that the table would continue to be set up.

Motion to accept report made by Amy and seconded by Lou. Motion passed unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:

Jeanette stated that she was excited and grateful for donation to “Families in Transition”.

Jeanette also reported that the April Phlocking was being moved to the second Phriday of the month so not to conflict with Easter weekend. The theme for April is Earth Day, the musician will be Jimmy Pappas and the Raffle table will be for Harbor House, run by Karen Chappell.

Motion to accept report made by Amy, seconded by Jackie. Motion passed unanimously.

COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER REPORT:

Lou Perkins reported that the directory is set up and that you must register to access. Lou also stated that Lisa Gallego was taking pictures.

2014 #s have been updated for donations and hours.

Lou stated that he is still looking for content. Pam Hausle encouraged everyone to visit the updated website.

VICE PRESIDENT REPORT:

It was reported that Terry did a good job running the March Phlocking.

Motion to accept report made by Jim Thomas and seconded by Jackie. Motion passed unanimously.

EXECUTIVE OFFICER REPORT:

Norbert stated that people were reporting inventory, but there was still a lot more out there.

Motion to accept report made by Jim Thomas and seconded by Dave. Motion passed unanimously.

MEMBER ADVOCATE REPORT:

Reported that Lisa Gallego noticed that #s were dwindling and wondered if the Phlocking location could be changed. A discussion followed and it was decided that the attendance #’s would be tracked.

PRESIDENT REPORT:

Pam stated that the website was looking good. She also reported that she received a “Thank You” from the Ronald McDonald House for the FITA leftover donations.

Pam distributed PHCF business cards to the officers to hand out,

OLD BUSINESS:

Lou reviewed the operating procedures and by-laws and suggested some areas for wording changes:

1. Family memberships

2. Board reassignment

3. Parrot points (participation) still being kept

4. Electronic Ballots (used by Survey Monkey) still used

5. Phlocking locations

NEW BUSINESS:

The next tailgate meeting is March 23, 2015.

Advertising on PHCF website – discussion tabled until further consideration.

Club Picnic – Manatee – no pavilion cost. Suggestion was made to donate $100 to “Save the Manatee”. A motion was made by Terry, seconded by Jeanette and passed unanimously.

A motion to adjourn was made by Jim Thomas, seconded by Jackie and passed unanimously.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:10pm.
