In Attendance:
President Lisa Schott, Vice President Bruce Broulik, Secretary Jackie Dorsey, Treasurer Suzanne Templin, Membership Occifer Amy Buchanan, Keepers of the Phlock Jeanette Freeman and Marti Hahn, Executive Occifer Norbert Camacho, Member Advocate Terry Clark, Past President Jim Van Pelt, George Schott.

OCCIFERS REPORTS:

SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Minutes submitted to web site (though I forgot to send to council for editing and will never do that again…I swear). Bank accounts reviewed. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded by Bruce Broulik and the motion was approved unanimously.

TREASURERS REPORT:
Suzanne Templin gave report for month of February. Income was $ 1,924.66 and expenses were $6,813.54 (income from last month covered this from tail gating) Suzanne Templin also updated the annual budget. Suzanne Templin. Brought to our attention that Jimmy Parrish did not get his entire hotel paid for we were agreed before FITA. Bruce Broulik motioned to pay out of club funds, Norbert Camacho seconded the motion passed unanimously. Suzanne Templin also reports she filed for 501C status. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded by Amy Buchanan and the motion was approved unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Amy Buchanan reports 54 people were at the last phlocking and 27 new members were initiated bringing the membership total to 467 members. Discussion of T.Scott Walker’s request for future 2nd Saturday socials was discussed. A motion was made by Suzanne Templin to include T.Scott Walker’s events on our calendar and send out notices to club but nothing further is to done about the 2nd Saturday Social. The motion was seconded by Amy Buchanan and passed unanimously. We discussed shipping of T-shirts. A motion to accept the report was made by Jeanette Freeman and it was seconded by Suzanne Templin and the motion was approved unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
Jeanette Freeman reports we have Captain Josh for April’s phlocking Lou and Pat are scheduled to do the raffle table for Relay for Life. Lucky Stars are Jeff Dubey USO. Jeanette Freeman stated we have two open months on the calendar for musician August and October. She had approached Charlie D and Restless Natives. A motion was made to accept the report by seconded by Bruce Broulik. Motion was passed unanimously.
Addendum: Lucky Stars recipient was changed to children’s party supplies at the Pig roast.

COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Mary Libbey not present.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Bruce Broulik confirmed Give Kids the World pool April. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded by Norbert Camacho and the motion was approved unanimously.

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Nothing to report.

MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Terry Clark reports nothing.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Lisa Schott showed flyer for Deland Pub Crawl April 14. FITA got a matching grant from the Patterson Foundation for $8500 bringing the grand total raised at 2012 Fruitcakes in the Alley to $30,000. (Applause). The four year total raise is $86,000 (more Applause). Next Arthritis event is Lets Move Together Walk May 12 8am. First Dude George has a team on the Website. Lisa Schott asked if anyone would like to do new member inductions. Bruce Broulik and Jeanette Freeman both volunteered. A motion to accept the report was made by Norbert Camacho and it was seconded by Amy Buchanan and the motion was approved unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS:
Jim Van Pelt announced plans for Birthday party not coming together and it was decided to change the party to the April Phlocking. Council had discussion of plans and it was decided we would put something together Jackie Dorsey Jeanette Freeman and Marti Hahn volunteered to get decorations and party supplies. A motion was made to have the club budget up to $200 for party supplies. It was seconded by Suzanne Templin and passed unanimously.

NEW BIDNESS:
Marti Hahn asked the council if she and Dee could run the raffle table at May’s Phlocking the proceeds to benefit Cystic Fibrosis Charity. The council agreed to that request.

A motion to adjourn made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded by Norbert Camacho the motion was approved unanimously.
