In Attendance: President Lisa Schott ,Vice President Bruce Broulik, Membership Occifer Amy Buchanan, Secretary Jackie Dorsey, Keepers of the Phlock Jeanette Freeman and Marti Hahn, Member Advocates Terry Clark and Joe Diluzio, Phormer President Jim Thomas, Sonia Bayne.

OCCIFERS REPORTS:

SECRETARY’S REPORT:

Minutes submitted to web site bank accounts reviewed. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded by Marti Hahn and the motion was approved unanimously.

TREASURERS REPORT

Suzanne Templin not present but gave report for month of June via E-mail. Income was $2729.00 and expenses were $2713.00. The club bank balance for June 2012 was $ 6447.89. Suzanne also submitted the budget to date. A motion to accept the report was made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Bruce Broulik and the motion was approved unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:

Amy Buchanan reports 2 new members joined this month and 2 paid dues. Club membership is 471 members. Amy also asked that more keet shirts be made as we have had a number of families added. A motion to accept the report was made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Jackie Dorsey and the motion was approved unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:

Jeanette Freeman reports Lucky stars for July is the Russell home for Atypical Children. Our own Captain Josh will be playing the phlocking. Raffle table is being run by Sonia Bayne and will benefit the charity Soldier Dogs.. Jeanette also reports the fall picnic will be October 7, 2012 at Sylvan Park in Sanford, Fl. Jeanette also discussed the fact that Lucky Stars is open for September may benefit Coalition for the homeless. Also may use proceeds from raffle table for Give Kids the World. Lisa Schott asked about Parrot Point report for her July PHIP report. Jeanette states if Lou and Pat don’t have time she will complete it. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded Marti Hahn and the motion was approved unanimously.

COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:

Mary Libbey is out of town and submitted email Lisa read. Mary asked that the council try to send out emails with her instructions through Mailchimp. Mary continues to work on the ad for Meeting of the Minds (MOTM) newsletter. Mary will be the contact person for MOTM information to disseminate to the Phlock. The slide show is still being worked on for club party at MOTM. There were no responses to last month’s call for volunteers for pub crawl birthday party or for the Christmas party. Jeanette, Jackie and Marti agreed to head up the Christmas party planning. A motion to accept the report was made by Jeanette Freeman and it was seconded by Marti Hahn and the motion was approved unanimously.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:

Bruce Broulik reported the next Give Kids the World (GKTW) pool party will be Saturday August 11, 2012. He asked about people going to the Florida Leadership conference in the Villages this year August 17-19, 2012.Several people discussed that they may attend. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded by Jim Thomas and the motion was approved unanimously.

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:

Norbert Camacho is not present no report.

MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:

Paul Terry Clark and Joe Diluzio have nothing to report at this time.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:

Lisa Schott states that she will need Parrot Points report for July for PHIP. A motion to accept the report was made by Bruce Broulik and it was seconded by Jim Thomas and the motion was approved unanimously

OLD BIDNESS:

Poker Tournament was a big success .Still need to decide about MOTM club party. The group agreed to table until Captain Josh consulted. .

NEW BIDNESS:

Lisa announced that we are sending teams to A1A volleyball tournament. Lisa asked the club for $200 to pay for entrance fee. A motion to approve was made by Jackie Dorsey and seconded by Jeanette Freeman. The motion passed unanimously.

Sonia volunteered to be the new Chair Parrot and start investigating the location, dates, and musicians for a club birthday party and invite as many of our favorite bands to play as possible to one location instead of a crawl. She will come back to the July meeting and report on progress.

A motion to adjourn made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Jackie Dorsey the motion was approved unanimously.
