OCCIFERS REPORTS:
SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Minutes for December and January were submitted to council. One revision made then sent to Shawn to be placed on website. Bank accounts reviewed. Mentioned working on Newsletter with very little progress. Shawn Goos made the motion to accept the report Jim Thomas seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.
TREASURERS REPORT
Suzanne Templin’s report
- Made some revisions to last month’s budget where she separated out the PayPal fees.
- FITA budget was finalized
- Regarding the musicians for the PHlockings, Suzanne asked that the venue pay the club and the club would write one check to musician.
- Shawn asked about continuing the matching donation for raffle table recipients as we did last year. Group decided to wait a couple months and revisit.
- Jackie Dorsey made the motion to accept the report and budget and, Jeanette Freeman seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously.
MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Amy announced that she cleaned out the Mailchimp® mailing list to reflect only current membership. Amy reports 53 people were at the last phlocking. Amy submitted membership report. To date there are 231 members plus 43 keets. A motion to accept the report was made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Shawn Goos and the motion was approved unanimously.
KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
Jeanette Freeman announced the March PHlocking location would be at the Silly Grape in Maitland and Cocoa Beach Boys will be playing. Jeanette offered to run the raffle as well as collect Lucky Stars on behalf of the Seminole county program “FIT” Families in Transition. A motion was made by Jim Thomas to accept the report it was seconded by Jackie Dorsey. Motion was passed unanimously.
COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Shawn Goos stated Adopt Latitude is on Website but he will do a Facebook invite as well. The only date missing from calendar is still the poker tournament. Pam asked about the possibility of putting a notice on Facebook when new members join. A motion was made Bruce Broulik by to accept the report it was seconded by Amy Clark. Motion was passed unanimously
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Norbert Camacho not present
MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Joe, Terry and Marty report no problems at this time. Terry Clark still wants to work on photo album. Lou and Pat Perkins offered to help
PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Pam discussed more ways to engage new members by having the council reply back to the welcome emails. She also recommended making the emails more personal by reiterating the activities they were interested in.
There was a thank you card from Orlando Rescue Mission from last month’s Lucky Stars and raffle.
OLD BIDNESS:
PHIP annual report was submitted by Lisa and Pam thanks her.
Lisa Schott gave brief summary of FITA
Manatee Picnic is next event a deposit was made for the pavilion.
NEW BIDNESS:
Friendly Confines is open now (old Mcwells) The next PHloc (Phlocking location) meeting will be there. Intend to hold March Council meeting there as well.
A motion to adjourn made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded by Amy Clark the motion was approved unanimously.
