IN ATTENDANCE

CALL TO ORDER:
Lisa Schott called the meeting to order at 7:01pm.

OCCIFER’S REPORTS

SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Laurie Ramsteck reported that January’s minutes were reviewed and posted to our website. The bank statements have been reviewed and approved. Mary Libbey made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Bruce Broulik and the motion passed unanimously.

TREASURER’S REPORT:
Lisa Schott presented the Treasurer’s report in Suzanne Templin’s absence. We have $4,016.56 in our overall account. Jackie Dorsey made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Laurie Ramsteck and the motion was passed unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Amy Buchanan reported that we currently have 333 members and 172 memberships. Amy will start taking attendance at our Phlockings and pick a name at random each month to win a gift card. Laurie Ramsteck made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was passed unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
No report this month.

COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Mary Libbey reported that she needs photo links from FITA to add to our website. Amy Buchanan made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Bruce Broulik and the motion passed unanimously.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Bruce Broulik reported that he has been in contact with Give Kids the World to do another pool party. He will follow up with GKTW to get dates and then recruit volunteers from our club.
Bruce also reported that our club had its first bike ride and a great time was had by all who participated. He will be looking at ways to involve the Club in a charity event with other bikers. Amy Buchanan made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was passed unanimously.

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Jackie Dorsey had nothing to report this month.

MEMBERSHIP ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Joe DiLuzio relayed an issue that had been brought to him by a club member. Council discussed and a letter will go out to the Phlock regarding this matter. Jackie Dorsey made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Laurie Ramsteck and the motion was passed unanimously.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Lisa Schott announced that there is a Chili Cook Off event in Baldwin Park this Saturday starting at 11am. Please come out and support The Quietly Making Chili Team if you can.
Lisa also reported that we successfully submitted our Annual Report to PHIP. Lisa asked Mary Libbey the status of doing a Club Survey and Mary reported that it is still in the works. Bruce Broulik made a motion to accept the report and it was seconded by Jackie Dorsey and the motion was passed unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS

MOTM REGISTRATION IS OPEN:
Lisa Schott reported that registration is open for MOTM. Also, our Club Party is set for Thursday, November 3rd at Dante’s. Capt. Josh and Laurie will try to coordinate other regional clubs to participate.

STATUS OF “NEGOTIATIONS WITH MCWELL’S:
No update at this time.

POKER TOURNAMENT:
Paul Fraas reported that the date for the Poker Tournament is June 4th and will be at McWell’s starting at 6:30pm.

NEW BIDNESS

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE:
Council decided that we will not participate this year.

MAKE-A-WISH WALK:
Mary Libbey is taking the lead on this event. It will be held on March 24th at Lake Eola. Mary will send out information to the club.

TAMPA CONCERT:
We have several members going to Tampa for the concert and tailgate. Mary Libbey will send out an e-mail to find out who is going and to coordinate the event.

Laurie Ramsteck made a motion to adjourn and it was seconded by Bruce Broulik and the meeting adjourned at 8:19pm.
