In Attendance: President of Vice Bruce Broulik, Membership Occifer Amy Buchanan, Keeper of the Phlock Jeanette Freeman, Executive Officer Norbert Camacho, Treasurer Suzanne Templin, Secretary Jackie Dorsey, Phormer Prez Jim Thomas, Norbert’s Cousin from Miami Tony
The minutes submitted from last month’s meeting was submitted. Bank accounts reviewed. A motion to accept the report was made by Norbert Camacho and it was seconded Mary Libbey. The motion was approved unanimously.
Suzanne Templin gave report for the last two months. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded by Jeanette Freeman and the motion was approved unanimously.
MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Amy Buchanan also gave 2 months reports there were 43(or so) people at the last phlocking. In November we had 500 members, December 503 members. A motion to accept the report was made by Bruce Broulik and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was approved unanimously.
KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
Jeanette Freeman reports Captain Josh was scheduled to play the December phlocking (Addendum: Captain Josh had to cancel Kid Conch AKA Rick Schettino played instead). The raffle table will benefit FITA. Lucky Stars will be hygiene products for the Hope Foundation. Jeanette reports we were able to donate $584 and over 100 toys to the Baby DJ toys drive from the Christmas Party. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded Norbert Camacho and the motion was approved unanimously.
VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Bruce Broulik has nothing to report at this time.
EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Norbert Camacho nothing to report
COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Mary Libbey plans not to run for communications officer this year. She is available to assist whoever takes the position.
MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Joe Diluzio had anything to report at this time.
Lisa needs Parrot points spreadsheet to report to PHIP.
A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey, and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was approved unanimously
88 bowlers 4 non bowlers registered at the time. Plan to have bracelets for each day for music for $10. Price for FITA registration goes up Jan 4th.
We discussed the club absorbing the PayPal fees for annual memberships, Xmas party and FITA.
A motion was made by Jackie Dorsey and passed by Jeanette Freeman and the motion passed unanimously
Club Elections: Jim Thomas discussed the upcoming elections. Mary has no plans to serve. JT motioned to suspend the communication officer’s position until the time when someone is willing to step into the role. The duties would be absorbed by the other officers as needed, The motions was seconded by Suzanne Templin and passed unanimously. Since there was no opposition in the elections, the officers will be sworn in at the December phlocking.
A motion to adjourn made Mary Libbey and it was seconded by Jim Thomas the motion was approved unanimously.
