In Attendance:
President Lisa Schott, Vice President Bruce Broulik, Membership Occifer Amy Buchanan, Communications Ociffer Mary Libbey, Treasurer Suzanne Templin, Secretary Jackie Dorsey, Keeper of the Phlock Jeanette Freeman, Member Advocate Terry Clark, Phormer President Jim Thomas, Phrist Dude George Schott, Sonia Bayne.

OCCIFERS REPORTS:

SECRETARY’S REPORT:
Minutes submitted need to be web site. Bank accounts reviewed. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded Jim Thomas and the motion was approved unanimously.

TREASURERS REPORT

Suzanne Templin gave report for month. The account balance is $5,888.54. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded by Bruce Broulik and the motion was approved unanimously.

MEMBERSHIP OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Amy Buchanan reports 3 new members joined this month. Club membership is 480 members. A motion to accept the report was made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Suzanne Templin and the motion was approved unanimously.

KEEPER OF THE PHLOCK REPORT:
Jeanette Freeman reports Lucky stars for August are supposed to be run by Ed and Jayne Langston the Hope Foundation. If they can’t do it, Jeanette reports she will collect for the Coalition for the Homeless. Captain Josh will be playing the phlocking. Raffle table is being run by the Christmas Party committee to raise funds for the party. Due to the fact that the Christmas party is the day after the December phlocking, it was agreed to be cancelled. McWells was notified during the meeting. The Christmas party will be held Dec 8th at the American Legion on Lee Rd. Jackie asked for the club to give $1500 to fund the party. Suzanne Templin made a motion to give the money for the Christmas party Jim Thomas seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded Mary Libbey and the motion was approved unanimously.

COMMUNICATIONS OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Mary Libbey thanked everyone for helping her out with Emails since she was out of town. Mary stated Lou and Pat Perkins asked to have access to the areas of the website so they could update their last supper information. Mary discussed also giving access to Lisa Schott and Amy. Mary reported the MOTM ad is finished including our first ever QR code. A motion to accept the report was made by Jackie Dorsey and it was seconded by Amy Buchanan and the motion was approved unanimously.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
Bruce Broulik reported that Give Kids the World (GKTW) pool party went well even though it rained the festivities were held in the theater. There were 26 Parrotheads and 6 Keets present and a group went to dinner afterwards. Next pool party will be held April 2013.A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded by Mary Libbey and the motion was approved unanimously.

EXECUTIVE OCCIFER’S REPORT:
Norbert Camacho is not present no report.

MEMBER ADVOCATE’S REPORT:
Terry Clark had nothing to report at this time.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT:
National PHIP elections will be held soon. Jimi Pappas needs photos for a video for a new song about parrot heads he wrote. Shawn Goos will chair the polar plunge out at Aquatica. It is the weekend after FITA. A motion to accept the report was made by Amy Buchanan and it was seconded by Jim Thomas and the motion was approved unanimously.

OLD BIDNESS:
It was decided to keep the club party at MOTM on Thursday.
Mary still plans to keep up the list for MOTM.
After much discussion, it was decided to move the Birthday party to next year. The idea of a 21st birthday as well as more time to plan appealed to the group and Sonia still plans to head up the festivities with a committee.

NEW BIDNESS:
PHIP leadership meeting was held in the Villages and attended by Bruce (with Linda), Amy, Terry, Marti, Jeanette and Jackie. The group discussed ideas and contacts made at the meeting. All agreed we need to continue to participate in the future.

A motion to adjourn made by Jim Thomas and it was seconded by Jeanette Freeman the motion was approved unanimously.
