Old Business –

  • Finalize 28th Birthday Party at 4pm on April 19
  • Future Phlockings

Amy –

  • After conversation with Rich it was agreed that BeLive would be the streaming tool used for the party. 
  • Party Agenda –
    • Kickoff Welcome from Mary at 4pm
    • Screen Slide Show
    • Concert with Trivia at 430pm – 1 hour
    • Team Drink and Cake with Mary
  • Dry Run on Wed or Thur. at 6 or 7. Amy to advise once speaking with Rich

Mary –

  • Will reach out to New Smyrna Beach, Flagler, and Space Coast clubs with invitation
  • Amy to re-invite our own club and include mention of membership renewals
  • Looking to get more photos for slide show.  Jim Schlegel will look to send old club photos.

Michele – Keep May phlocking virtual.   

  • Checking if Bill Cockrell is available for May 1, 7pm.
  • Voted and Passed to pay $100 for one hour. 
  • Agreed to invite other clubs

Sonia –

  • Will call to cancel May social at Friendly Confines
  • Will ask Friendly Confines for 7pm, June 5 reservation.  Will keep phlockings on Fridays until after the quarantine. 
  • Group discussed club members to wear Hawaiian or club shirts and to welcome all bar guests at the front entrance with beads/leis and a handout directing people to our registration webpage.  Terry has the club banners that we can hang up.  We could also ask the bar to play the birthday slideshow on the TVs.
  • Amy to put link in email for members to order club shirts

New Business –

  • PO Box Renewal
  • Membership

Gary –

  • The PO Box in Mt. Dora is up for renewal.  Gary will renew for 6 months and then the club can evaluate moving its location.
  • Amy Clark and Gary have keys.  Dave lives in Mt. Dora and can get mail as well.
  • Mary indicated that the checkbooks and IRS records need to be changed.
  • Gary stated that the Division of Corporation has been changed

Group –

  • Amy indicated that the club renewal typically goes out this time of year
  • Amy will include renewal mention in the birthday invite and follow up with a separate communication to those who need to renew the week following the party
  • Amy will also request content for future communications, i.e., PHIP news, cocktail recipes, other email content.
